My game isn’t getting any better or worse, what should I do?
Have you hit a plateau in your bowling game - not getting any better but not getting any worse? Are you wondering how you can start improving your game? The answer may not be one you want to hear, but it's what you need to hear: Practice, Practice, Practice.
A lot of bowling success comes from repeating shots, doing the same thing over and over again so that when the lanes start to break down, you know it's the lanes and not you throwing the ball differently. It's hard to stay in the pocket if the way you throw your ball is inconsistent.
When you take the time to practice, then you can pick out a flaw in your game like a timing issue, accuracy, or missing spares. Work out flaws, one at a time, and your game will improve.
If you aren't currently making time for practice games, start by practicing 3 games a week for a month or two. Then move it up to 3 games, twice a week. This will give you the edge you need to be a better bowler.
Don't forget that every Sunday from 9 am to noon is only $2/game/person - the perfect time to practice.
