Town & Country

Bowling Center

We are enjoying our 20th year in the community! In 1991, Hide-a-Way Lanes was bought by Steve Westberg and subsequently renamed Town & Country Lanes, Lounge and Cafe. Since that time, many improvements have been made to the property, and we are constantly striving to impress our customers!

House Rules:

Town & Country Lanes is committed to making your experience at our bowling center as enjoyable as possible. Keeping in mind that our bowling center is used by families, we have the following short list of house rules that we ask our patrons to respectfully follow. These rules should help to keep Town & Country Lanes a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our patrons.

• Like any other physical activity, understand your own limitations.

  1. Ask for the right ball for you, if you are unsure.

  2. Bowling shoes are an unique athletic equipment. Be sure your shoes remain tied, dry and clean as you play. Check your shoes prior to stepping on the approach to bowl. Bowling shoes must be worn when bowling.

  3. Crossing the foul line - the line right before the lane itself - may cause you to fall on the slippery lanes.

  4. Keep food, beverages and substances (rosin, powder, etc.) off the approach area.

  5. Wait until moving balls stop in the ball return tray before retrieving or replacing balls. Be sure not to reach into the ball return opening. Moving parts will cause serious injury.

  6. Only employees are permitted to operate bumpers. Operating them incorrectly may cause serious injury.

  7. Always ask an employee for help with anything that may cause you injury, such as a misplaced pin, a spilled beverage or a ball that hasn’t quite made it down the lane.

  8. To prevent and avoid tripping hazards, be sure not to leave personal items such as shoes, coats, and bags in public movement paths around lanes and seating. Watch out for these types of items left by others.

  9. No cursing/profanity
    • No kicking/hitting any of the bowling center equipment

  10. Please show lane courtesy (Don't throw a ball at the same time as a bowler next to you.)
    • Dispose of trash in trash or recycling receptacles (Please don't leave food/plates/drinks on tables when leaving.)
    • Report spills or dropped food that require mopping so they will be cleaned up quickly.
